Who We Are
Grace Bible Fellowship is a newly planted body of believers in the Pisgah Forest area of Western North Carolina, joyfully gathering around the worship of our sovereign Lord and the teaching of His all‑sufficient Word. We are a growing family of believers committed to encouraging one another, walking together in truth, and cultivating a community shaped by Scripture rather than by tradition or trends. Our aim is to unite clear, strong, text‑driven Bible teaching with warm, familial, life‑on‑life application so that doctrinal truth is not only understood clearly but lived out practically.
We believe God has given His people everything needed for life and godliness, and we desire to help one another embrace that provision with reverence, obedience, and joy. Grace Bible Fellowship exists to be a place where truth is loved, relationships are genuine, and Christ is honored in every sphere of life.
Why We Are Here
Western North Carolina is home to many churches. We desire to be a congregation that intentionally unites robust, expositional teaching with a loving, accountable, Scripture-shaped community. Grace Bible Fellowship was planted to provide a fresh, faithful option for believers seeking a church where God’s Word is central, worship is reverent, relationships are meaningful, and discipleship is intentional.
We believe a new congregation with this emphasis can serve the region by offering clarity in doctrine, stability in shepherding, and genuine fellowship rooted in truth rather than tradition. Our desire is not to compete with existing churches, but to strengthen Christ’s work in this area by planting a church where Scripture governs everything we believe, practice, and pursue. We are here because God’s people flourish when truth is taught clearly and lived together lovingly — and we want to be that kind of church.
Our Heart for Counseling
Grace Bible Fellowship offers biblical counseling to individuals and families seeking clear, compassionate, Scripture‑centered help for the real challenges of life. Our counseling is rooted in the conviction that God’s Word is fully sufficient and authoritative for “all things that pertain to life and godliness,” and we rely on the ministry of the Holy Spirit to bring genuine heart‑level transformation. Historically, this approach has been known as Nouthetic counseling — meaning that our counsel is drawn directly from Scripture, aims at Christ‑centered repentance and obedience, and is carried out within the loving accountability of the local church.
Whether you are facing personal struggles, marital difficulties, parenting challenges, or spiritual discouragement, our pastors and trained members offer biblical admonition, encouragement, and hope grounded in God’s truth rather than secular theories. A Welcome Note from the Pastor
Welcome to Grace Bible Fellowship! We are a small but growing church family committed to worshiping Christ, loving His people, and walking together in the truth of God's Word. If you visit us, you will find a simple gathering—nothing polished or performative—but you will also find sincere believers who love the Lord, love one another, and desire to grow in grace.
Our desire is to be a church where Scripture is central, Christ is exalted, and God's people are equipped for life and godliness. We believe God's Word is sufficient , comprehensive, and authoritative for every part of life (2 Peter1:2-3). Because of that, our preaching is expositional and text-driven. We open the Scriptures, explain what God has said, and apply it carefully to everyday living. At times, you may hear questions or brief interaction woven into the teaching—not to interrupt the sermon, but to help clarify truth, reinforce understanding, and encourage real-life obedience. Our aim is simple: that God's people not only hear the Word, but understand it, embrace it, and grow through it.
We worship with joy and reverence. Our music is conservative, doctrinally rich, and centered on Scripture. We sing a blend of historic hymns and faithful contemporary songs—all a cappella in this temporary season—and our congregation sings with enthusiasm and unity. We gather as families, we fellowship warmly, and we encourage one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Grace Bible Fellowship is a church plant, and like any new work, we are learning, growing, and trusting God for each step. We meet in a single-room community center, and our young families are adapting with grace and patience. There is no dress code, no pressure to give, and no expectation beyond a desire to worship Christ and hear His Word. We are committed to investing in men for leadership, strengthening homes, discipling believers, and building a culture of genuine fellowship and spiritual maturity.
